Skin comfort is paramount. Targeted Application. Once the patch test is clear, apply a THIN layer of the balm ONLY to areas of skin experiencing severe dryness and discomfort. Do not apply it as a general body moisturiser. Use 1-2 times daily. Gentle Absorption. Massage the balm into the skin very gently until mostly absorbed. Avoid vigorous rubbing, especially on highly uncomfortable-feeling areas. Post-Application Care. Wash hands thoroughly after each use. During urticaria flare-ups, when my skin burns and swells, the Coal Tar Balm™ is the only formula that genuinely cools and calms. Alpha Bisabolol acts quickly on that deep itching and heat. It also helps me tolerate fabrics like wool again. Slight tint on skin, but the comfort it brings is unmatched.
